Use

• Build up of deposits, varnishes and sludge in oil causing hesitation, poor performance and decreased fuel economy in engines.
• Harsh engagements, poor performance and rough idle cause by automatic transmissions.
• Loss of performance control, sluggish returns and pump howl in power steering units.

ENGINE

1. Pour the contents of the PROTEX #94100 MTS CLEANER bottle into the
engine.
2. Run the engine at idle for 15 to 30 minutes.
3. After the recommended elapsed time, stop the motor and drain the oil.
4. Install a new oil filter and when adding new oil to the crankcase, also add
PROTEX # 93400 Pro-1 Oil Supplement for added protection.

TRANSMISSION

1. Pour the contents of the PROTEX # 94100 MTS CLEANER bottle into the
transmission.
2. Run the engine at idle for 15 to 30 minutes.
3. Shift repeatedly through all the gears for 2 minutes.
4. Drain the transmission fluid.
5. Add new transmission fluid BARDAHL # 57100 or # 57105 until it flows like new from the drain. Also add
PROTEX # 93250 Automatic Transmission Treatment for added protection.

POWER STEERING

1. Remove 473ml of power steering fluid from the oil reservoir.
2. Pour the contents of the PROTEX # 94100 MTS CLEANER bottle into the
power steering fluid reservoir.
3. Run the engine at idle for 2 minutes while turning the steering wheel complete
from all the way left to all the way right.
4. Finish by leaving the steering wheel turned completely to the left in order to
drain the fluid.
5. Add new power steering fluid PROTEX # 57110 or # 57130 or # 57140 (depending the need of your vehicle)  until it flows like new from the drain.
